Connie and William Diehl begin the interview discussing why he came to the 5th Annual Editors, Agents, and Authors Conference and his writing style before moving into a discussion of how his books develop. He then describes his personal life and settings that he weaves into his narratives. Connie closes the interview requesting an autograph for her copy of the book. Connie and Peter Gethers begin the interview discussing how much of Peter goes into his editing work, and the presence of emotion in his books. They then discuss how Peter came into editing and publishing before moving on to a discussion of advice for first-time authors and Peter’s familial background. Connie and Margaret McBride begin the interview discussing whether or not organizing the conference becomes redundant for Margaret, and her attraction to certain types of literature. They proceed to discuss how Margaret chooses her conference attendees, and Connie closes the interview series recommending the conference to writers.
