Photograph caption dated July 30, 1936 reads, "Mr. and Mrs. Jack Warner entertained a party of friends at the premiere. They are shown above with Ramon Novarro, at left. Many other stars formed brilliant parties of gaiety and beauty." The premiere is taking place at the Carthay Circle Theatre, later demolished.
