Signatures: A-K? L? (-L4). Engraved title-page within a border, bearing the emblems of the Passion. 70 full page engravings represent famous crucifixions; engraved by Adriaen Collaert. Includes the Crucifixion of Christ and the Martyrs in the different countries, with a page of history and pious exhortations in Latin facing illustration. Index of martyrs at end. Colophon: Antverpiae, ex Officina Plantiniana, Apud Ioannem Moretum. M. DC. VIII. Stained calf over boards, stamped in gold and blind; top edges gilt. Beige marbled endpapers.
