Description
Photograph of the interior of a canning factory, ca.1935. A shiny metal can be seen on its side in the center. The can is supported by a machine that appears to be rolling it to the side. To the right, a second can be seen rolling through a spray of water that ejects our of pipes on the right. In the right background, two more cans are visible on the machine. The picture provides an upclose image of canning operations while showing the details of the machine that prepares the cans for distribution.
