Peter Drucker writes Mrs. Kidd updating her on his children. He informs her that he has gotten a lot of work done on "The Practice" and that it is turning into an entirely new book. He says that he is over-scheduled and that he will be traveling to England after Thanksgiving to receive an honorary doctorate from the University of Bradford. Drucker writes that John Veronis and Nick Charney, the owners of the Saturday Review, want Drucker to be their chief advisor. He goes on to tell Kidd that he is in need of a recording or some intercept that will tell callers that his old telephone number in New Jersey has been discontinued, and will provide his new number and address in California. The letter contains Drucker's original handwritten notes and signature.
