Dorn one of the 10 new compact fire engines which the county is putting into service in watershed areas, where their ability to maneuver will be valuable. Costing $9,000 apiece, the engines contain 400-gallon booster tanks, a pump capable of producing 300 gallons per minute, 2,500 feet of hose and carry 58 gallons of gasoline."
