Description
Seven negatives, in envelope labeled "Akron." These would have been taken during the U.S.S. Akron's coast-to-coast trip from New Jersey to Moffett Field between May and June of 1932. See attached Mercury Herald articles about the Akron's arrival at Moffett Field. Articles continued to appear during May 1932 as the area celebrated the Akron and visitors lined up to see it.
