Description
On the same spacious parking lot where once were seen the swank cars of film beauties and the elite of society, workmen are shown on March 24, 1942, building some of the houses at Santa Anita Race Track to be used as temporary quarters for Japanese evacuees. The palatial front of the capital of turfdom forms a striking background.
