Description
Photograph of an exterior view of an unidentified house, showing a Los Angeles House Moving Company truck, ca.1922. A house, constructed in the Monterey style of architecture, sits at center. It is two stories tall, with a balcony on the second story. In the foreground is a truck whose front end reads "L.A. House Moving Co. [?]503961", bearing a California license plate number "63103 COM". The open bed of the truck is heaped with nondescript objects. A man sits in the driver's seat of the truck, while another stands at the far left writing notes on a pad. Two more men stand at the far right, hands in pockets, looking at the house. To their right, at the very edge of the frame, sits a sign that reads "Danger. Street Closed. LA House Moving Co.". Neighboring houses are visible in the left background.
