Written on sleeve holding photograph: "Sal A." Sal was the co-founder of the Watergarden and was a community activist who's dedication had him traveling to Washington, D.C. to campaign for Gay and Lesbian Rights. See Ted Sahl, "From Community to Closet"; (2002), p. 80.
