Description
This circa 1980 postcard features a color photograph of the Brown's Ravine Marina on Folsom Lake. The lake is a manmade reservoir of the American River and was created after the construction of the Folsom Dam in 1955. The marina was constructed in 1971 on the lake's eastern shore alongside new picnic areas and shore improvements.
