Description
Two young boys on bicycles are seen riding through a tranquil Los Angeles River. This same river also has raw sewage poured into it at seasons of peak flow, threatening the spread of communicable diseases. In one day, health officers saw 74 children playing in contaminated waters below the point of discharge north of Griffith Park. Passge of Proposition A (the sewer bond issue) will eliminate such contamination.
