Description
Photograph of an aerial view of Beverly Hills looking east, before 1953. Wilshire Boulevard and Santa Monica Boulevard intersect in an X shape in the foreground at center. A small park can be seen near the intersection at right. The rest of the visible area is filled with hundreds of small houses and other buildings. The buildings at right are surrounded by a large number of trees, giving the area a dark color. Several tall mountains can be seen in the background at left
except for these peaks, the land is very flat.
