Description: 'Winged Victory' leads the floats in the 1946 Pasadena Rose Parade, with a fighter plane hovering over a large 'V'. 'Los Angeles County, Wings of Victory' is written on the edge of the float. Behind the lead float is the 'Dawn of Peace' float carrying the Rose Parade Queen and her court. Policemen walk by the edge of the crowds as photographers squat to get their picture. Photo dated: 1946.
