Taken on September 1, 1946, is a class picture at Bret Harte School, located at 3250 Franklin Blvd. Pictured are 29 students and two teachers. They are identified as follows: Judy Adams, bottom row, left to right, #3; Bob Clark, top row, l-r, #4; Joan Dowdell, bottom row, l-r, #6; Janet Faltrick, bottom row, l-r, #10; Gordie Glyer, top row-l-r, #7; Herbert Jackson, row 2, l-r, #8; Peter Knowles Jr., row 2, l-r, # 10; Bobby Reed, row 2, l-r, #7. Mr. Frame was the principal at the time. Herbert Jackson, who is identified in the picture, later became the District Attorney of Sacramento in the 1980s.
