These boats are the frigate "Constitution" and the Tripolitan ship "Castle" the "Constitution has just fired a broadside into the "Castle". A castle-like structure sits on the coast in the center background, with hills behind it to both sides. These boats are involved in the filming of James Cruze's "Old Ironsides", a Paramount film.
