Description
Photograph shows General Davidson (CSA), wife and boy. His wife is Guy Kennedy's mother's sister. (Guy Kennedy was attorney for the Stansbury estate and nephew to Annie Bidwell). Henry Brevard Davidson, b. January 28, 1831 - d. March 4, 1899, Commissioned Brigadier General August 11, 1863 in Confederate Calvary . Came to California after war. A biography can be found in Ezra J. Warner, 'Generals in Gray', LSU Press 1959 Ref. E467 W3. Photograph by Gregory, L. L. Lewis Building, Sacramento, California.
