Description
Photograph was edited for publication purposes; Photograph also used in articles dated March 27, 1962 and November 20, 1964.
Meredith Willson is pictured on the set of 'The Music Man.' The man standing to the left of Willson is possibly producer-director Morton Da Costa.
Photograph article dated June 29, 1961 partially reads, "Producer-director Morton Da Costa, who staged Meredith Willson's 'The Music Man' on Broadway and is now putting the finishing touches to the Warner Bros. version of the stage hit, stood up and looked around the set. 'We can't wrap this up with all these interruptions,' Da Costa said. 'Now, I want to know just one thing. What's the score?'"
