The man standing to the left of Willson is possibly producer-director Morton Da Costa. Photograph article dated June 29, 1961 partially reads, "Producer-director Morton Da Costa, who staged Meredith Willson's 'The Music Man' on Broadway and is now putting the finishing touches to the Warner Bros. version of the stage hit, stood up and looked around the set. 'We can't wrap this up with all these interruptions,' Da Costa said. 'Now, I want to know just one thing. What's the score?'"
