Photograph of the frame of a "Ki-Kaugh", or old-style Pima Indian dwelling, Pima, Arizona, ca.1900. It consists of a gridwork of branches tied together at their intersections as well as several large vertical timbers acting as posts to hold the roof. The overall shape is that of an inverted bowl. Brush and small trees grow on the plain in the background.
