Description
United States Senator Pete Wilson sponsored legislation allocating ten million dollars in federal money for funding D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) programs in school districts throughout the country. Wilson was joined by LAPD Chief Daryl Gates for a rally at Betty Plasencia Elementary School in Los Angeles, where the D.A.R.E. program is in progress.
