Shows parade from Market St. to Van Ness of sailors and marines from Fleet. Men marching up one side, reversing down opposite side. In foreground is marker of battleship Missouri. Buildings and spectators line side of road.
Naval parade in San Francisco celebrated the arrival of the Atlantic Fleet or Great White Fleet. Sent around world by President Theodore Roosevelt between Dec. 16, 1907 to Feb. 22 1909, arrived in San Francisco May 6, 1908. Commanded by Admiral Robley D. Evans.
