Description: Letter from Peter SooHoo, Secretary of the Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association, to Louis B. Mayer, Metro Goldwyn Mayer Studios. SooHoo writes to Mayer concerning the information that props from the movie the Good Earth are being sent to Sterling's China City. SooHoo explains the efforts of the Chinese-American community to build their New Chinatown, and he asks that Mayer attention be drawn to their efforts.
