Clyde Edgerton discusses his novel, “Where Trouble Sleeps.” He begins by explaining that his book is about a tragedy in a small rural town in North Carolina. He talks about his own life growing up in the south, and how he included many of his memories living during the 1950s. He discusses other books that he has written and that this is his 7th novel. Edgerton talks about the strange family relationships in the South and how children view their family. Martinson asks Edgerton to read a passage about a soldier who comes home from World War I with a missing arm. He ends the interview by talking about how he writes and edits his own books.
