Photograph of a narrow, hand-drawn map of the lower Colorado River between Arizona and California, showing also a portion of Mexico, 1850. The Mojave Indian Reservation is included. Two joined photographs show the river from the Mojave Indian school at top to San Jorge Island in the Gulf of California at bottom (left image) as well as a close-up of the same map but from Needles near the Atcheson, Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad at top to the Algodones Mexican Custom House just south of the Mexican border at bottom (right image). Statement of responsibility at top reads "S[?] Adams Agents, [...]oneo B. Smith concessionaire, 206 Henne Building, Los Angeles, California".
