V1p220d In PHOTO ALBUM-VAULT: ** fc917.9461 A3, Vol. I, page 220 bottom. This photograph is contained in one of two volumes by Dobbin titled "Album of San Francisco." Text written under photo: "Tall building is addition to Chronicle at the time of the fire April 18th 1906. Call building in center." The Call Building is actually almost completely hidden by the Chronicle Annex. The Mutual Savings Building is immediately to its right. The Monadnock Building is at the extreme left. The Flood Building is in the distance at the right. This photo was taken from about Sutter and Montgomery looking southwest.
