Description: Article reports that 250,460 acres of land in Inyo County have been held by order of President Franklin Delano Roosevelt in order to allow the City of Los Angeles to purchase the land. Article states that the announcement was made last July but that the people of Inyo did not learn of the order until recently. Information on the order came from San Francisco.
