Description: Second part in a series of articles on Owens Valley residents continues the story of the how the Los Angeles Aqueduct came to the area. Article tells of how plans for an irrigation project in Owens Valley gave way to plans for an aqueduct to Los Angeles. Article also mentions the reaction of Owens Valley citizens to the news that the San Fernando Valley receives irrigation water from the aqueduct as well. In second section of article, a water feud between Los Angeles and the San Fernando Valley is detailed.
