Description
Aerial view of the USS Sacramento, the first of the US Navy's Fast Combat Support Ships. She was designed to transfer her cargo at sea to her customers while making high speeds. She was built at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in Bremerton, WA and commissioned on March 14, 1964. She is 792' long, 107' wide, weighs 53,500 tons, and is manned by 500 Officers and crew.
