Description
Photograph of an exterior view of the Bellevue Terrace Hotel on the corner of Sixth Street and Figueroa Street, ca.1889. The large Victorian hotel stretches across the entire image but is mostly hidden from view by a line of expansive palm trees in the foreground. The hotel has light-colored wooden walls and a dark roof. There are two towers, one at left and one at center, that stick up over the trees, and the corner of another tower, as well as a stairway leading to the front porch, is visible at right.
