Reports on McFarling's discussions with "representative" people regarding the suggested plan of a WRA Washington staff to go to the Granada Project (Amache) camp and work with local communities with resettlement of incarcerees. Communities include Walnut Grove, Livingston, Cortez and Modesto. Ethnic groups discussed include Filipinos, and Chinese. Caucasians, “Oakies” and “Arkies” are also mentioned. Describes incarceree’s views of the War Relocation Authority’s role in ensuring acceptance into the communities from which they were removed. Describes a conflict between the Council and the project director regarding plans to close blocks. Discusses policy and processes at the incarceration camp relating to this incident.
