Description
Image of an eye-level street view of the exterior of the four-story firehouse of the Hibernia Fire Engine Company No. 1 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with firefighters standing in the street wearing top hats, uniforms, and green capes decorated with an image of an American eagle and the letters "F" and "A"; some hold speaking trumpets, a trumpet, and fire ax; the firemen stand around a small dog, fire hose carriage, and green double-deck manual fire engine decorated with images of an American eagle, an angel, and a goddess next to an eagle on the center condenser case; children sit on a brick wall next to the station and spectators look out from the windows of neighboring building; the firehouse has an American flag on the roof and the labels "Hibernia," "Instituted 1752," and "Incorporated 1841" on the front and a large "1" on the side.
