Marine Day was an annual event held at Burbank's Golden Mall in the late 60s and early 70s. Each year, several hundred Marines from Camp Pendleton were invited to a public celebration at the Mall. The event was followed by a trip to Disneyland in which the Marines were accompanied by teen hostesses from local high schools. This photo was taken at the first Marine Day, held March 23, 1968.
