Description
This is a draft of the Advisory Commission's resolution opposing California Proposition 102. The proposition was also known as the Dannemeyer AIDS Initiative because it was backed by Republican Congressman William E. Dannemeyer. If passed, the law would have mandated widespread HIV-testing, repealed the anonymous testing program and implemented a mandatory quarantine of people with AIDS. Proposition 102 lost by a wide margin. 1988.
