Photograph caption dated May 2, 1958 reads, "Tune-up for ancient auto tour - Gordon Howard, right, president of Horseless Carriage Club of Southern California, fills tank of his 1910 Thomas Flyer touring car while mechanic Rig Petri makes final check of engine prior to joining three-day caravan tour of ancient cars to Palm Springs area. Howard, of Burbank, will be joined by six other Valley families on trip."
