Photograph caption dated June 7, 1926 reads, "Boys and girls of Belmont High School displaying to the public the results of the years' training in physical education when 800 of them on the athletic field performed complicated drills. The pom-pom drill when girls carried fluffy masses of green and black, the school colors, was a distinctive feature of the event."
