Description
Photograph of a homemade windwmill on the Agua Hedionda ranch, home of Juan Maria Marron, ca.1930. What appears to be a horse trough sits in front of the squat windmill, which is pictured just right of center. Water quavers at the brim of the trough, while a growing puddle is visible on the ground in front of it. The surrounding terrain is covered with small shale and scrub vegetation.
