Photograph of Eugene L. Durian and another soldier at Camp Monterey, ca.1900. Two men can be seen at center looking at a piece of paper that the man at right is holding. The man at right appears to be wearing the outfit of a soldier, while the man at left can be seen wearing a tucked-in shirt and a hat. Sheets and a backpack can be seen hanging from a tree at right, while a covered wagon is visible at left pulled by two horses. Two other horses can be seen from behind tied to the left side of the wagon. Foliage is visible in the background. Durian died in 1931 in Los Angeles. Photoprint reads: "The Partners" and "my father".
