Photograph of cleared section of timber in Bucks Valley used to supply Hydro Electric Power Plant. Donor/Source: Ron Hanford (owned by Glenn Way) GMW 146 06 28 Plumas County trees cut to be burned and the best logs to be sawed at Mill for construction use when all timber is cleared will be lake to water to supply hydro Electrical Power plant. Audio Tape #13B-257. This timber was cut by crews of Swedish loggers with hand powered cross cut saws. The shorelines were surveyed by Roger and Brit Millard, engineers for R. C. Storrie and Co., probably in 1925.
