Original photograph has several small stains. Photograph caption dated November 22, 1957 reads "Sharon Achen, 14, left, Miss Madison Junior High School of 1958, pins corsarge (sic) on Karen Townsend, 13, Junior Miss Madison, after girls were chosen best groomed girls in North Hollywood school. Sharon is in ninth grade, Karen in eighth. Other finalists were Adele Cohl, Robin Lowe, Karen Baller and Pat Stacey."
