Banner advertising the Sonoma County Fair is strung between two streetcar power poles on Fulton Street in San Francisco, adjacent to the San Francisco Public Library. The banner promotes the racing and horse show, as well as agricultural, livestock and machinery exhibits; the fair will be held from August 9th to 14th, [1938]. Four streetcars are visible below and to the right of the banner; a crowd of people is waiting for one of the streetcars.
