Description
Photograph of an exterior view of the Hotel Palomares in Pomona, opened by Frank Miller in 1897, showing tracks in the foreground, ca.1904. Tracks lie across the dust in the foreground while small palm trees line the hotel's yard at center. A variety of larger trees and plants, including a patch of cacti at right, decorate the yard in front of the large, lightly-colored hotel. The hotel stands two stories tall with a wrap-around porch and a pointed observation tower above the entrance at left.
