Description
Jack Stevenson discusses his family that moved from Michigan to Centerville (Fremont) and bought a large ranch. The first home was built in 1853. Many different settling families are mentioned in addition to his own: Juries, Halpis, Mallon, Francis, Mowrys, Beards, Machados, Rix,, Bernhardt, Plummer, Hawley, Andrades, Emersons (especially Doc Emerson), and Larkins. Many places in Fremont are mentioned.
