Photograph caption dated November 11, 1959 reads "Blue Diamond Co. has supplied vast quantities of basic building material for Valley construction projects since 1929. Over 10,000 cubic yards of their truck mixed concrete have gone into the construction of the William Howard Taft High School at Winnetka Ave. and Ventura Blvd. The $4 1/2 million Los Angeles City High School District project will accomodate 2,500 students."
