Description
Pacific Electric Railway streetcar no. 5130 at Hollycrest station in the median of Highway 101 (Hollywood Freeway) in Cahuenga Pass, on the Van Nuys line. The sign on the front of the car says "Los Angeles."
"Pacific Electric Railway 5130 Cahuenga Pass Hollycrest station Van Nuys line, August 1952"--text, handwritten in pencil on housing. Title and date devised by cataloger based on notes on housing. The Pacific Electric Railway system of electric streetcars and rail was also known as the Red Car system.
