PT-109, the film version of President Kennedy's wartime experiences, was premiered at the Beverly Hilton for a $100-a-plate audience of 1,000.
Photograph caption dated July 3, 1963 reads, "Mrs. Joseph Kennedy and her daughter, Mrs. Peter Lawford, general chairman of the event."
