Description
Actors in period costume pose for this 1990 promotional postcard, one of a series printed for the California State Railroad Museum in Sacramento. The description on the back of the card reads, “This replica of the Central Pacific Railroad’s second Sacramento depot depicts train travel of the 1870s. The Baggage Room was the point where most travelers came to deposit or retrieve their heavy trunks, luggage and express goods when making a trip over the Central Pacific.”
