Description
Two women stand in a parlor. The woman on the left is in wedding costume. She wears a headband of white roses with a long gray veil. Her dress is also a pale gray with a small "V" shaped neckline. Decorative embroidery adorns the front of the bodice and small, flower shaped buttons run down the center of the skirt with zigzag lace decoration down either side. She holds a small red Bible in her hand. The woman on the right wears a yellow ruffled bonnet with feathers on the left side and long ribbon ties. Her dress is a blue-gray color with deep blue vertical stripes down the bodice, sleeve and skirt. Three wide horizontal bands of black lace adorn the skirt, and matching black lace trims the cuffs. In the background sits a chair with red upholstery and an ornate wooden frame. A multicolored shawl is draped over the back of the chair. The carpet is taupe with orange stripes and a green leafy design.
