Description: Three of the entertainers at next Monday night's boxing and vaudeville show at the Main Street Athletic Club to raise funds for the Thanksgiving Day dinner for 2,000 newsboys is: Fidel La Barba (right), famous bantamweight, and Augie Curtis (left), Los Angeles Athletic Club flyweight. The referee is Carlo Curtis who is in charge of the show and the dinner. Photo dated: December 23, 1928.
