Description
Article by Ken Auletta on Peter F. Drucker's contribution to L.A. Times publisher Richard T. Schlosberg's information concerning the Los Angeles Times. The article explains how Drucker met with Scholsberg and discussed the L.A. Times, recommending to Scholsberg that the Times interpret its various sections in terms of niche marketing within an overall Times brand that maintains a broad appeal. As a result of Drucker's suggestion, a "Drucker process" began at the Times and a new section, Health, was introduced into the publication.
