Description: Rick Monday of the Cubs got a hero's welcome when he returned to Los Angeles for the first time since saving an American flag from being burned in the Dodger Stadium outfield. The Daughters of the American Revolution, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Jewish War Veterans, Los Angeles Police Department and B'nai Brith, honored Monday in pre-game ceremonies.
